Amy Strider was born and raised in Missouri. In 1999, she graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with dual bachelors’ degrees in journalism and political science. Ms. Strider moved to San Diego to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she was a scholarship recipient and where she served as Lead Articles Editor of the Law Review and was a fellow of the Center of Law, Communications and Technology. She graduated with honors in 2002. Following graduation, Ms. Strider practiced in the San Diego area, representing public entities throughout the state in both litigation and administrative matters. Ms. Strider is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, the District of Columbia, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. She is a member of the Business and Corporate Law and Real Property Law sections of the San Diego County Bar Association and has served as a delegate to the State Bar Conference of Delegates. Ms. Strider is also a member of the Greater Golden Hill Community Development Corporation, which works toward the revitalization of the Golden Hill neighborhood. In her spare time, she fosters rescue dogs. Ms. Strider specializes in transactional real estate and corporate law. She represents buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and developers (both commercial and residential) in the negotiation and documentation of real estate purchase and sale transactions, commercial, industrial and office lease transactions, acquisition and development financing transactions, construction contracts, redevelopment agreements and various other agreements. She also represents clients in the planning, formation and operation of business entities and in the acquisition and disposition of assets. Ms. Strider was voted a San Diego Daily Transcript Top Attorney 2010 by her peers in the real estate transactional practice area |
